An easy paddle through (mostly) pleasant countryside though we pass industrial works at Runcorn and Winsford. Refreshments can be had at several pubs en route at Acton Bridge, Frodsham, Barnton, Northwich, Winsford and Moulton; the Leigh Arms at Acton Bridge is by far our favourite.
