About me
Graham Mawhood is lucky enough to be a Yorkshireman, currently living in Lancashire (that phrase can be read in a number of ways!). He started his cycling career as a young lad doing Cycle Speedway. He first came into Outdoor Activities as a Mountain Bike Trail Leader but over the years has gained a variety of qualifications and worked with a wide range of groups. His interest in Archery has led him to buy different bows and he now runs a small Archery Club in Bolton. He has been with OAS for over 12 years now.
Graham holds the:-
16 hour Outdoor First Aid
BSCA Mountain Bike / Off Road Leader Award
1st4SPORT Level 2 Award in Instructor Cycle training
Archery GB Instructor Award
BOF Orienteering Instructor
MT Walking group leader - Training
OTC Technical mountain bike training
Scottish Mountain Bike Trail Leader Award
MT Single Pitch Award - Training
RYA Powerboat level 2
His love of the outdoors extends into family life and holidays with his wife and two young children often incorporate camping, canoeing or cycling.
Graham also runs a mobile bicycle repair service working on single or centre fleets of bikes. His latest project is developing “trick bicycles” with opposite steering or offset hubs.
